Certificate

Document with a digital signature issued by a certification for a user, computer, or service. Certificates provide the inability to identify a different site as the site. This helps ensure the security of electronic transactions, such as e-commerce, and prevents unauthorized access to the information that is transmitted or received by the node (i.e. computer).
